Wild Plum Yoga Policies & Disclosures

1. Medical & Health Disclaimer

Wild Plum Yoga provides general wellness, restorative movement, breathwork, and somatic nervous system regulation practices.

General Wellness Purpose: All content, micro-class instruction, private sessions, and website information offered by Wild Plum Yoga are intended solely for general educational, movement, and stress-reduction purposes. They do not constitute medical, physical therapy, or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

No Doctor-Patient Relationship: Participation in any session or use of this website does not establish a medical or clinical therapeutic relationship.

Consultation with Healthcare Providers: You should consult with a qualified physician or healthcare provider before beginning any new physical movement, breathwork, or somatic practice, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, managing chronic pain, or have pre-existing physical or mental health conditions.

Assumption of Risk: By participating in Wild Plum Yoga classes or private sessions, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with physical movement and somatic practice.

2. Scope of Practice & Trauma-Informed Care Disclosure

Wild Plum Yoga is built upon trauma-informed principles and nervous system science.

Non-Clinical Care: While our instruction is informed by somatic research and trauma-informed principles, facilitators at Wild Plum Yoga are not licensed psychotherapists, mental health counselors, or medical clinicians. Our services do not include clinical mental health diagnosis, trauma processing therapy, or psychiatric intervention.

Student Autonomy: You remain the ultimate authority over your own body. All movement cues, breath practices, and restorative holds are gentle invitations. You are empowered to pause, modify, step out, or rest on a bolster at any time during any session.

3. Heated Geodesic Dome Environment Safety Notice

Some sessions take place inside the Zen Dome, a custom geodesic structure, featuring radiant-heat and climate control.

Heated Environment: Heating is utilized during cooler months to keep muscles warm and support relaxation.

Precautions: If you have heat sensitivities, low or high blood pressure, cardiovascular conditions, or are pregnant, please consult your healthcare provider prior to attending a heated session.

Hydration & Comfort: Participants are encouraged to bring a closed water bottle and wear comfortable, layered clothing to easily adjust to personal thermal preferences.

4. Reservation, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Due to the intimate scale of the Zen Dome—where public micro-classes are strictly capped at 3 to 4 students per session—seat availability is limited to preserve tranquility and personal care.

Public Micro-Class Cancellations (3–4 Seats): Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class start time. Cancellations made with 24+ hours' notice will receive full credit or a refund less a $5 administrative fee. Cancellations made within less than 2 hours or no-shows are non-refundable.

Private 1:1 Sessions & Group Dome Buyouts: Private 1:1 sessions (60m or 90m) and Private Group Buyouts (3–4 friends) require at least 48 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling to receive a full refund or credit less a 10% administrative fee.

Soft Opening & Grand Launch Pricing: Introductory soft opening rates (Nov 01, 2026 – Dec 31, 2026) and Jan 2027 launch specials apply only to bookings completed within those specified promotional windows.

Late Arrivals: To preserve quiet and acoustic harmony for all participants inside the dome, doors close at the scheduled start time. Late entry is not permitted for public classes, and missed sessions due to late arrival are non-refundable.

5. Website Terms of Use & Intellectual Property

Ownership of Content: All original text, brand copy, graphics, logos, images, and visual design assets associated with Wild Plum Yoga and the Zen Dome are the intellectual property of Wild Plum Yoga.
